Sam Berry

Sam Berry is both the Interim Chief Executive Officer, Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada Bermuda Branch ("Sun Life Private Wealth Bermuda"), and the Chief Underwriter, Sun Life Private Wealth. He is responsible for leading the Sun Life Private Wealth Bermuda business and the global underwriting strategy and risk assessment for Sun Life Private Wealth, ensuring a sophisticated and seamless experience for the clients.

Sam brings over 35 years of extensive experience in the life insurance and reinsurance industry across Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Before joining Sun Life, he held senior leadership positions at Swiss Re, where he served as the Regional Head of L&H Underwriting for HNW across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and India.
