Sujoy Ghosh is the Chief Executive Officer, Sun Life Private Wealth. He leads Sun Life’s global High Net Worth (HNW) business, with operations in Hong Kong, Singapore, Bermuda and Dubai, deepening partnerships and enhancing capabilities to strengthen Sun Life’s position as an established market leader in HNW insurance.

Sujoy brings 27 years’ experience in leadership roles spanning insurance and banking across Asia, the Middle East and Europe. He joins Sun Life from Citi, where he was most recently Head of Global Insurance & Asia Head, Business Development - Citi Wealth, responsible for the bank’s global insurance operations and business development in Asia. Prior to joining Citi, Sujoy was the Regional Head of Bancassurance for Allianz in Asia Pacific, responsible for establishing and managing commercial and strategic partnerships across Life and General Insurance in Asia Pacific.

Ashish Chand is Vice President, Chief Transformation Officer, Sun Life Private Wealth.  He is responsible for leading the global Private Wealth Operations, IT, and Transformation teams, driving operational excellence and efficiency across the organisation. 
 
With nearly 30 years of experience solving complex business problems through technology and strategic leadership, Ashish brings proven expertise in scaling operations and advancing business models. His expertise and vision, positions our organisation for continued growth and innovation, supporting both our clients and distribution partners. 
 
At Sun Life, he has held key roles including Chief Technology Officer for Asia Service Centres (2015–2019) and Director of Information Technology (2011–2015), where he transformed technical platforms and modernised business infrastructure. Prior to Sun Life, Ashish spent eight years as Associate Director at Fidelity International and held senior project management roles at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). He holds a degree from Delhi College of Engineering.

Benjamin Root is the Chief Financial Officer, Sun Life Private Wealth. He is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the financial operations, capital management, asset liability management, and strategic financial planning for Sun Life’s High Net Worth (HNW) business. 
 
Benjamin has a strong background in finance, actuarial science, and risk management. Before his current appointment, he held various finance and actuarial leadership roles within Sun Life, including serving as the Chief Actuary and then the Chief Financial Officer at Sun Life Singapore where he led the Finance, Actuarial, ALM, and Product & Pricing functions. He is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Chartered Enterprise Risk Analyst (CERA), and a Fellow of the Singapore Actuarial Society. He holds a degree from the University of Connecticut.

Christopher Albrecht is the Chief Executive Officer of Sun Life Singapore.  He is responsible for leading the strategic and operational aspects of the Sun Life Singapore business.
 
Christopher has over 25 years of experience, having held senior roles across various global organisations in the region, including HSBC Insurance (Singapore), Old Mutual International, Swiss Life and 1291 Group (Hong Kong). Having worked in the High Net Worth banking, insurance and brokerage sectors, Christopher is able to offer unique perspectives from each of these areas. Originally from the United Kingdom, Christopher moved to Singapore in 2005. He later relocated to Hong Kong in 2017, further expanding his understanding of the Asian insurance landscape.

David Varley is the Chief Partnership Officer, Sun Life Private Wealth. He is responsible for driving growth across the HNW and Ultra-HNW segments, managing key relationships with HNW brokers, private banks and family offices, and overseeing a unified Global team to ensure seamless broker and client experiences. 

David has nearly 10 years of experience in Sun Life’s HNW business, previously serving as Chief Partnership Officer – Brokerage and Chief High Net Worth Officer at Sun Life Hong Kong. He brings extensive expertise in wealth structuring solutions, including indexed universal life, whole of life, savings, and private placement life insurance. Prior to joining Sun Life, David held senior regional roles at AXA, where he was Head of HNW for Asia, and Aviva, where he served as Head of International Business. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Melbourne University.

Henry Philip is the Chief Human Resources Officer, Sun Life Private Wealth. Henry is responsible for leading the HNW HR Business Partner team to work closely with the HNW leadership team to deliver engagement and culture programmes. He will also oversee HR transformation initiatives, strategic workforce planning, and executive recruitment. 

Henry is a seasoned HR and talent leader with 30 years of experience in HR leadership and talent acquisition roles in Asia, North America and the UK. He brings a deep understanding of strategic HR planning, talent development, and employee relations in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Sun Life, Henry spent 17 years at Wellington Management Company, where he most recently served as Global Head of Talent Acquisition.

Sam Berry is the Chief Underwriter, Sun Life Private Wealth. He is responsible for leading the global underwriting strategy and risk assessment for Sun Life’s HNW business, ensuring a sophisticated and seamless experience for the clients. 

Sam brings over 35 years of extensive experience in the life insurance and reinsurance industry across Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Before joining Sun Life, he held senior leadership positions at Swiss Re, where he served as the Regional Head of L&H Underwriting for HNW across Hong Kong, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, and India.
